Shipping Policy

All Peplix Research Supply orders are shipped exclusively via the United States Postal Service (USPS). We do not use UPS, FedEx, DHL, or any other carrier. Cold-chain packaging is included with all peptide compound orders at no additional charge.



1. Order Processing

All orders are processed on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays). Orders placed before 12:00 PM Central Time on a business day are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM or on weekends and holidays are processed the next business day.

Processing time is 1–2 business days from order confirmation. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your USPS tracking number once your order has been dispatched.



NOTE: Research compound orders require internal quality verification before dispatch. While we aim to ship within 1 business day, orders flagged for additional compliance review may take up to 2 business days to process. You will be notified by email if your order requires additional processing time.



2. Cold-Chain Packaging

Peptide research compounds are sensitive biological reagents that require temperature-controlled handling during transit. All Peplix orders include cold-chain packaging at no additional cost to the purchaser.



Standard Cold-Chain Packaging Included With Every Order

  • Insulated shipping container (EPS foam or equivalent)

  • Ice packs or dry ice depending on ambient temperature forecast and transit time

  • Moisture-barrier sealed inner packaging

  • Desiccant sachet to control humidity

  • Outer shipping box rated for USPS handling conditions



IMPORTANT — Upon Receipt:

Inspect all packages immediately upon delivery. Transfer lyophilised peptide vials to a -20 degrees C freezer promptly upon receipt. Do not leave packages in warm environments. Peplix is not responsible for product degradation resulting from failure to store compounds appropriately after delivery.



3. Available Shipping Services

Peplix ships exclusively via USPS. Five service levels are available at checkout. Service availability depends on destination — domestic services are available for all U.S. addresses; international services are available for eligible countries.

Transit times are estimates provided by USPS and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather events, customs processing (international), and other factors outside Peplix's control. Peplix does not guarantee delivery by a specific date.



3a. USPS Ground Advantage

USPS Ground Advantage is our most economical domestic shipping option, suitable for orders where transit time is not critical. Ground Advantage shipments travel by ground transport and are not eligible for air transport upgrades.

  • Estimated transit: 2–5 business days

  • Full USPS tracking included

  • USPS-included insurance up to $100

  • Available to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses

  • Not available for international destinations

  • Cold-chain packaging included — recommended for orders placed during cooler months or for shorter transit routes



Cold-chain note: Ground Advantage transit times of 4–5 days may challenge cold-chain integrity in summer months or for destinations with high ambient temperatures. For heat-sensitive orders during summer, we recommend upgrading to USPS Priority Mail.



3b. USPS First Class Mail (Domestic)

USPS First Class Mail is available for domestic orders with total package weight under 13 oz. It is a fast, economical option for lightweight orders.

  • Estimated transit: 1–3 business days

  • Full USPS tracking included

  • USPS-included insurance up to $100

  • Weight limit: packages must be under 13 oz total — eligible for single-vial and small multi-vial orders

  • Available to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses

  • Not available for international destinations



3c. USPS Priority Mail (Domestic)

USPS Priority Mail is our recommended domestic shipping service for most orders. Priority Mail shipments are transported by air and have the fastest guaranteed domestic transit window of our domestic services.

  • Estimated transit: 1–3 business days

  • Full USPS tracking included

  • USPS-included insurance up to $100

  • No weight limit for standard Priority Mail — suitable for all order sizes

  • Available to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses

  • Recommended for summer months when cold-chain integrity is most critical

  • Not available for international destinations



3d. USPS First Class Package International

USPS First Class Package International is our most economical international shipping option. It provides the basic level of tracking available for international shipments and is suitable for non-time-critical international orders.

  • Estimated transit: 7–21 business days (varies significantly by destination country)

  • Limited tracking — USPS provides tracking to the point of departure from the U.S.; tracking updates within the destination country depend on the local postal service and may be unavailable

  • No USPS-included insurance — purchaser assumes all risk of loss or damage in transit

  • Available to eligible international destinations — see Section 5 for country restrictions

  • Weight limit applies — eligible for lightweight single-vial orders



Important for international purchasers: First Class International does not include end-to-end tracking in most countries. For high-value orders or orders destined for countries with less reliable postal infrastructure, we strongly recommend upgrading to USPS Priority Mail International. Peplix cannot file USPS claims for lost First Class International shipments as no insurance is included.



3e. USPS Priority Mail International

USPS Priority Mail International is our recommended service for all international orders. It provides faster transit, full end-to-end tracking to most destinations, and USPS-included insurance.

  • Estimated transit: 6–10 business days to most destinations (may be longer for remote or less-served destinations)

  • Full USPS tracking to most destinations — tracking updates available within the destination country for most international postal partners

  • USPS-included insurance up to $200 — Peplix will file claims on behalf of purchasers for confirmed lost or damaged shipments where insurance applies

  • Available to eligible international destinations — see Section 5 for country restrictions

  • No weight limit for standard Priority Mail International — suitable for all international order sizes

  • Includes USPS-provided customs documentation



4. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated in real time at checkout based on your delivery address, package weight, and selected service level. Rates reflect current USPS postage pricing. Peplix does not mark up shipping rates — you pay USPS rate plus the cost of cold-chain packaging materials.



Free shipping promotions, if offered, apply to domestic USPS Ground Advantage or First Class service only unless otherwise stated. Free shipping promotions do not apply to international shipments or Priority Mail upgrades.



5. International Shipping

5.1 Eligible Destinations

Peplix ships internationally to most countries served by USPS international mail services. However, due to the nature of synthetic peptide research compounds, we reserve the right to restrict shipment to certain destinations based on import regulations, customs enforcement patterns, or compliance considerations.

It is the purchaser's sole responsibility to verify that the import of ordered research compounds is legal in their destination country prior to placing an order. Peplix will not issue refunds for orders seized or detained by customs authorities.



5.2 Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

International shipments may be subject to customs inspection, import duties, value-added tax (VAT), and other fees levied by the destination country's customs authority. These charges are entirely the responsibility of the purchaser and are not included in the Peplix order total or shipping charge.

  • Peplix will accurately declare package contents on all customs documentation

  • Products will be declared as: Research Reagents / Synthetic Peptide Reference Standards

  • Declared value will reflect the actual invoice value of the order

  • Peplix will not falsify customs declarations, undervalue shipments, or mislabel package contents under any circumstances



Peplix will not mark packages as 'gift', understate declared value, or use misleading descriptions on customs forms. Any purchaser requesting this will have their order cancelled. Accurate customs declarations are a legal requirement and a condition of our shipping account with USPS.



5.3 Customs Delays

International shipments are subject to customs inspection and clearance in the destination country. Customs processing times vary widely by country and are entirely outside Peplix's control. Estimated transit times do not include customs clearance time. Peplix is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspection or hold.



6. Tracking & Delivery Confirmation

A USPS tracking number is provided for all domestic shipments and for Priority Mail International shipments. Tracking information is emailed to the address provided at checkout upon dispatch.

  • Domestic tracking: Full end-to-end USPS tracking available at usps.com

  • Priority Mail International: Full tracking to most destinations at usps.com

  • First Class International: Departure scan only in most cases — no in-country tracking in most destinations



If your tracking number shows no movement for more than 5 business days (domestic) or 15 business days (international), contact support@peplix.bio with your order number and we will open an inquiry with USPS.



7. Lost or Damaged Shipments

7.1 Domestic Lost Shipments

If a domestic USPS shipment has not been delivered within 15 calendar days of the ship date and tracking shows no movement, Peplix will file a USPS missing mail search on your behalf. If USPS confirms the shipment as lost, Peplix will, at its election, dispatch a replacement shipment or issue a refund.



7.2 International Lost Shipments

For Priority Mail International shipments that include USPS insurance, Peplix will file a USPS claim on your behalf if the shipment is confirmed lost or damaged. Claims require a minimum of 40 calendar days from the ship date before USPS will accept a lost shipment claim for international mail.

For First Class International shipments, no insurance is included and Peplix cannot file claims with USPS. Purchasers selecting First Class International accept full risk of loss in transit.



7.3 Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives visibly damaged, photograph the outer packaging and inner contents immediately before handling or discarding any packaging materials. Submit photographic evidence to support@peplix.bio within 48 hours of delivery. Peplix will assess the claim and, where damage occurred in transit, will coordinate replacement or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.



8. Delivery Address Accuracy

The purchaser is solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. Peplix will ship to the address provided and cannot be responsible for non-delivery resulting from an incomplete, incorrect, or undeliverable address provided by the purchaser.

  • Address corrections after dispatch are not possible — USPS does not support in-transit address changes

  • Packages returned to Peplix as undeliverable will not be re-shipped without payment of a re-shipment fee

  • Packages returned to Peplix as undeliverable will be assessed for product integrity before any re-shipment — products that have been compromised by extended return transit will not be re-shipped
