Due to the perishable, temperature-sensitive, and regulated nature of synthetic peptide research compounds, Peplix Research Supply operates a strict returns policy. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
All Peplix products are sold exclusively as analytical-grade research reagents to licensed research institutions and qualified research organisations. Products are not for human consumption.
1. Defective or Out-of-Specification Products
If you receive a product with confirmed purity below the stated specification on the Certificate of Analysis, Peplix will — at its election — provide a replacement product or issue a full refund for that product.
To qualify:
- The claim must be submitted within 7 days of confirmed delivery
- You must contact support@peplix.bio with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting analytical documentation (e.g. independent HPLC results)
- Peplix may request the return of the product before issuing a replacement or refund
2. Products Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives visibly damaged due to transit handling or cold-chain failure:
- Photographic evidence of the damage and packaging must be submitted to support@peplix.bio within 48 hours of delivery
- Include your order number and a description of the damage
- Peplix will coordinate with the shipping carrier and, where applicable, issue a replacement or refund
3. Incorrect Items Shipped
If you receive a product that does not match your order confirmation, contact support@peplix.bio within 7 days of delivery with your order number and details of the discrepancy. Peplix will arrange for the correct product to be shipped or issue a full refund at its election.
4. Purchaser Error (Incorrect Order / Change of Mind)
No returns or refunds are available for orders placed in error by the purchaser (e.g. incorrect compound, quantity, or vial size selected) or for change-of-mind cancellations once an order has been dispatched. This policy exists because:
- Research compounds are perishable and temperature-sensitive; returned products cannot be restocked
- Cold-chain integrity cannot be guaranteed on returned shipments
- Regulatory compliance obligations apply to all dispatched product lots
If you identify an ordering error before dispatch, contact support@peplix.bio immediately. We will attempt to amend or cancel the order prior to shipment where operationally possible, but cannot guarantee this.
5. Refused or Unclaimed Shipments
No refunds are available for orders that are refused at delivery or that go unclaimed and are returned to sender. Import customs refusals are the responsibility of the Purchaser. Please verify import regulations in your jurisdiction before ordering.
6. International Orders
Peplix is not responsible for delays, seizures, or additional costs arising from customs inspection, import restrictions, or regulatory requirements in the destination country. Purchasers are responsible for ensuring that the import of ordered compounds is lawful in their jurisdiction prior to placing an order. Customs-related issues do not qualify for refunds under this policy.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Peplix will confirm refund approval in writing via email to the address on the order.
